David Lerner Schwartz is a writer living in Brooklyn, NY. His work has been published in SmokeLong Quarterly, New York Magazine, Gravel, and more. He is at work on a collection of fiction.


In 2018, David was a semi-finalist in the American Short Fiction contest judged by Lauren Groff. He most recently read in January 2018 at the Cornelia Street Café in Greenwich Village. In 2014, David studied with Nancy Zafris at the Kenyon Writer’s Workshop. In 2013, David served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Tufts Observer. An interview with him is upcoming in SmokeLong Quarterly.
